After completion of Basic suturing workshop, participants are given certificate of attendance which is important as continuous professional development skill.
Learning Outcomes
To develop the skills of basic suturing and gain further knowledge on wound management and suturing techniques.Day 2 – Advanced Suturing (9am – 5pm):
- Surgical scrub
- Flaps
- Soft tissue lesions
- Warts, skin tags
- Keloids
- Sebaceous cysts and drainage of abscess
- Nail related conditions
- Dressings
- Burns and dressings
- Skin-graft
- Electo surgery
- Tourniquets in surgery
- Regional Block

Workshop Structure
The first day starts with theoretical discussion on the different topics related to Basic Suturing.
Following the theoretical discussion will be a demonstration by the tutor.
After a lunch break will be group participation overseen by the facilitator.
The second day will also start with theoretical discussion on different topics related to advanced Suturing
